Melbourne songbird Kelsie possesses a unique voice that has been described as “ambient”, “magical” and “angelic”. She’s also been labelled a musical chameleon, with covers spanning folk, classical, country, electronic, musical theatre, indie-rock and soft punk.
A tender artist at core, Kelsie delicately crafts musical poetry, with each song telling a story that’s close to her heart. It’s this sensitivity that’s earned her airplay on Channel 9 and Triple J – as well as a casual 4 million views on Youtube from thousands of fans worldwide.
When she’s not singing, Kelsie flexes her storytelling muscles as a full-time writer. She loves sunflowers, is fur-mum to two cats and has a special talent for puns and dad jokes. She’s also a vegan with a passion for animal rights.
Now working on her debut album, Kelsie regularly mesmerises the Melbourne music scene with her special sound. She’s performed at a range of iconic venues across Australia, including The Gov, The Zoo, Oxford Art Factory and The Corner Hotel.
